Protein Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

As the weather cools down, this Protein Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe has been giving me all the fall vibes. That and going outside and stomping on fall leaves with my niece. I would say that those are my top 2 this season.

And because of the coconut oil in this latte recipe, it’s so moisturizing for your lips too!

This Protein Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe is super healthy and NOT packed with sugar like many of the other coffee shop varieties. This recipe gives you a healthier, gut-happier alternative AND helps you save money by making it at home. Don’t get me wrong, I am all about supporting your local coffee shop especially during times like this. But, I am not for 1,000 calorie, sugar-packed, coffee drinks as a routine in the morning.

This latte recipe also inspired the #PPSLChats I am doing in November on social media. These are periodic 10 minute chats with someone I know will inspire and motivate you during this time. Be sure you tune in there on both Instagram and Facebook.

Which Protein powder should you use for this recipe?

I prefer Ancient Nutrition Pumpkin Spice Bone Broth Protein, Turmeric or Vanilla and you can use code lifelikelunden for a discount at checkout. However, this brand is only available in the USA so if you live elsewhere just choose your favorite vanilla protein powder for this recipe.

How cute is my friend Stephanie from High School sipping on this latte?

Protein Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric (you don’t need to add this if you’re using the Turmeric protein powder)
  • 1/3 cup raw pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling! If you use the Pumpkin Spice Protein Powder you do not need to add this ingredient)
  • dash of cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg and pumpkin pie spice

Process:

Add all ingredients to your blender. Blend it all up. Pour in your favorite mug. Add a dash of cinnamon on top if you wish! IF your blender cannot handle hot liquids, then just use cold water and then warm it all up in a sauce pan on the stove afterwards…this works just as well 🙂
