Hey my friends! I hope you had a beautifully blessed holiday season full of love and joy. I am back in California right now getting quality time with my friends and family. It’s not snowing here like it is in Austria, but the weather has cooled down a lot so indoor, quick, sweaty HIIT workouts have been great these days and exactly what I need to reboot after the holidays. I don’t know about you, but it’s not just the few extra pounds that the holidays might bring, it’s the lack of energy and kind of “lazy mode” I need a jumpstart from. And working out is – of course! – a super powerful tool to get back in goal-mode again. Hellllooooo endorphin rush! Bring on the sweat.
These 4 HIIT workouts are only 15-minutes long. You can join me real time (just press play!) for a quick workout, restart them and do multiple rounds of the same video or mix them up for a tougher challenge. These workouts pair great with a run and walk 🙂 All these videos can be found right on the Runtastic Fitness Channel on YouTube and don’t require any equipment.
Here are 4 HIIT Workouts to Jumpstart & Reboot the New Year
15-Minute Butt & Thigh Workout
I don’t know about you – but I love a great butt and thigh workout. Mixing HIIT with lower body toning is super effective and will really get your heart rate up. Strong glutes not only look good, but they are super important for preventing injury and improving overall performance.
15-Minute Abs on Fire
Ugh, to be honest – abs are my least favorite muscle group to train. So when I do train them, I like quick HIIT workouts, an awesome playlist and usually a friend to do the workout with me if possible. I need some moral support – okay? HAHA! I hope you like these moves and really feel the burn.
15-Minute Cardio Kickboxing
Knock out some steam and get in a great workout at the same time. Kickboxing (cardio or contact) is one of my favorite ways to get in a workout. It doesn’t really matter how I am feeling before a workout – I always feel like Rocky after kickboxing :p
15-Minute Total Body Blaster
Let’s hit all the muscles, shall we? This is a great workout to do a couple times per week after a run, hike, bike ride or walk. Traveling for business or need something quick to fit in during your lunch break? Here you go…
I hope you guys enjoy doing these workouts with me. For more workouts just like this, you can subscribe to the Runtastic Fitness Channel on YouTube.
